I have slowed down a bit, I was going to put a 1450kv motor in it !!!

I just ordered four more 1250kv's to replace the 28mm 1800kv's in the Huntsman 30", Wave master and the old speed boat, plus one for a spare or an upgrade for the 1920 Gentleman's Runabout.

I should think about some upgrades to brushless I suppose. I will have to stare at the boat boxes and see what should be made faster…

The banggood Surpass C 3542 motors are in 1000kv, 1250 and 1450kv.

Battery 2 to 4S

Shaft 5mm.

Mount pattern standard 540.

Power 750, 850 and 1050 Watts on 4S.

The first two only require a 60Amp ESC.

Good strong motor and only $35au ,plus postage.

Discount if you buy more than three in one go !!!

Must use metal uni with them, plastic ones do not last !!!

Hi All

After a sweet run with the boat on her first outing is back on the bench for more work.

Installed a floor in the wheelhouse, steering wheel and stand.

A few gauges for Captain General Patton to look over.

I paint his jacket in red and his helmet in yellow to brighten the old boy up a bit.

Added windscreen wipers and four doors.

Finally decided on an outline of a roof, so I cut that out.

Marked out all the glue areas and mask them up, so I can seal and paint the inside of the roof.

As we have still a limit of 10 persons at the canal per meeting.

I number of member's are still not interested in going, but also it's the first day of WINTER today.

The last four days have been fine and 14.

If you can spare a few degrees, like about 5 I would better.

Hi All

Added the door handles, painted inside the roof.

Installed the roof late this afternoon.

The roof top is in undercoat, so if it's not paint for Saturday so be it.
