I seemed to be adding my build to others threads and I thought a new thread dedicated would be better.
Having been on the build for 22 months or more it’s a slow burn.
I first of all had to get to grips with the moulded hull and after a lot of cutting and sanding ended up with something I was happy with. The moulding still has a twist in it – but I can live with that.

The hull is ready for the deck – but I am finishing the rudders and drives first.
we all know about the drives him ho.

I will be making a couple of couplings that flex enough for me to leave the shafts as is. I may end up as Ray says taking them out and starting again though.
      The cabin is also started.

After what seems like ages I finally solved my low shaft problems.
I made my own couplings to suit the problem. They turn over quite nicely. It took me a while to find a suitable o ring to cut the sections out off. I wanted ones with as large a radius as possible.

I want to control the motors separately. Do I have to use two separate channels on my tranny? Or is it possible to mix them from one stick. I have Flysky fs i6x radio.

Do a search for “fs-i6x differential thrust mixing” and you’ll find several videos explaining how to setup the mixing for 2 motors/rudder. Mostly aimed at aircraft but the same principle applies.

            Thank you for the lead.
