Not doing very well this afternoon. The extra lead isn’t shown after all . May be a problem with using Android phone.

Think give up and have a lie down!

          Huh!

Tried printing and assembling my turret design – found that the clearances were so tight that the servo would bind, unless it was allowed to move slightly. And lowering the clearance just produces a sloppy turret head,

You won’t have that problem with your flexible plastic tube. I must find some way to do a flexible servo mount…

Finished putting the guns back into the hull. Added some extra magnets to keep them in place.  Both working smoothly now and getting 180° movement.

Have to decide which model to check out next.

Which 180deg product did you use?  I have tried one which did not work for me…

At the moment I have a Surfury-type racer and a Waverley on the stocks. Do you want to propose another boat?

Tried to reply earlier this morning but this the first the site has let me type anything.

The lead I used for the turrets was a AGWOETR Servo Expander £6.24 for 2 on Amazon. There are quite a few on there. I just picked one and it arrived in about 10 days or so.

No thoughts on an Eezebilt boat. If I think of one I will let you know.

I have just knocked my RAF Fire boat off the bench in the workshop so have got out the Car Body repair putty out.
