Yes, true enough! I like building the most unpopular type of models, dislike computers, but still use them, can't get on with kits, don't like football, or cricket etc. Was far happier on older ships than the more comfortable modern products that seem all the rage these days.

Here I am as a "young dinsaur" as radio officer aboard a North Sea collier in 1962. Despite my youthful looks, she was my my fourth ship, but I knew what I was doing in those days, and had recently qualified with a 1st class radio officer's certificate. The older I get, the less I feel I know!
