I am back again.   I have been having a rough time with computer problems forcing me onto Windows 11 where some of my old programs no longer work.    Also, eyesight getting very bad, but about a month ago, they fixed the 2nd cataract, and vision is now superb and I don’t need glasses for long distance any more, and some of my old reading glasses from years ago have started to work again for close up.    Getting new reading glasses next week!

          Thank Ray,

I am more into drawing these days, as I am still allergic to glue fumes – Potosi For frame (Medium)

            Welcome back.

Welcome back Bob, excellent news re your eyesight.

Like you I suffer from using cyano glue but have recently been using Bob Smith Odourless Cyano glues and am able to tolerate them pretty well. There are thin and thick versions and they don’t need a kicker to set although you can use one if you need an instant set.

Thanks for replies. I have not missed model making really, I was getting tired of trying to deal with people who could not accept my simple rule that anything I was building could not be reserved before it was completed.    I preferred to work on a “first come, first served” basis, after a model was completed, but was continually asked to let people know when I had completed something, as they were too busy to follow the build online.    Invariably, I ended up as the “villain of the piece,” for not complying.

Life is a lot simpler now!

I got a new (2nd hand) PC with a solid state hard drive, and went on to high speed fibre optic broadband, so my pictures seem to be much higher quality now –   Here is my Caithness-Shire:
