Is it me or does the forum seem to be getting more posts recently ?

I certainly hope this is the case , i know a lot of work goes on behind the scenes but im sure you will all agree its well worth it , the site looks great

Thanks for the kind comments Andy. Yes, we do seem to be getting more posts and that is the key to success as the more people who join in the discussions the more responses are sparked and things take off from there.

 

So don’t be hesitant about joining in, we are a friendly and helpful crowd and everyone can learn from each other. People will no doubt have noticed that there are competitions/prize draws going on all the time and these are attracting a lot of entries. The recent photographic competition was very popular and a selection of the entries has been published in the December issue of the magazine which is now on sale.

 

I intend to launch another photo competition fairly soon so look out for that. In the meantime I am finding the online new back issue facility very handy myself as the ability to search all issues from January 2007 using a keyword is very quick and convenient and saves leafing through the individual issues looking for the article you are interested in. A number of our subscribers have also said how useful they find it too.

 

Paul Freshney is pulling out all the stops to make the magazine itself as attractive as possible. The recent Winter Special will be followed by a Bumper 100 page January issue to mark the New Year which will be sold at the usual price of £3.85 to non subscribers. Then, a little later in the year, we have something very special planned which I’m sure will appeal to almost everyone.

i think it all depends on the time of year……………..i do not jest.

there are times when i just cannot contribute…………either i don’t have enough knowledge on the subjects being talked about, and other times when people are on hols.

but i do say that when i do have something to say, i say it…….and sod the consequences. lol…………………..no, not really.
