I can see now why you need a motor and gearbox setup!

 

You are going to need a lot of lead to get it down to the waterline?………I`m guessing about 100lb?

I would be tempted to build in some water filled ballast tanks for that, could be ply coated in resin, and even make them free flooding, or else its going to be very heavy to launch and also that lead might strain the (relativly long and thin) hull..??

im going to try !!! to put water balast inside that can be pumped in and out at the pond, im also going to build a special trailor for it to tow behind my car but also act as its own launching ramp ,ill keep everyone updated ,

 

all this and it will be like the others once or twice down the pond and it will live on a shelf forever after lol
