Still looking for a lake

Hi, Does anyone know of a large pond, lake, canal or even sedately flowing river in Cornwall i can use to sail my boats (All electric)? I have got to go around 25miles to the boating lake in Helston to meet the chaps down there to see if i can join there club soon but alas i can't find anywhere else. I live around 7 miles in land from Newquay so some were closer to that area would be nice. I have tried emailing Newquay boating club several times but have never had a reply from them. If you can help i would be extreemly grateful.

hi have you tried perranporth a few people get down ther on sunday mornings about 9 0/c i used to go but have not got a boat now gordon p s 7 miles from newquay
