Spray Paint

I am trying to find a decent sized spray can of Matt Grey (Equivalent to the Humbrol No. 67 Matt Grey)

All the Humbrol cans seem to be 150ml and instead of buying 3 or 4 of these it would be more cost effective to obtain a couple of 300ml cans.

Has anyone an idea if an equivalent is available?

That is quite a dark shade and I doubt if you will find an alternative to the Humbrol spray. I imagine that some people would be using the tinlets and airbrushing. An alternative might be to see if you can find a Halfords car spray of the right colour. But then you would probably need to precede it with grey primer and then add a matt/satin varnish afterwards so it might be even more expensive in total!

Hi Ian.

We have a local vehicle paint supplier in our area and they will mix any colour you want in 500ml aerosols and they really do spray well. You might ring round your area and find one local to you.

Thank you for the information regarding the paint spray.

I don’t have an airbrush so will try and find the nearest Halfords have to the Humbrol colour.

I believe there is a local paint supplier who will mix paint in a spray can, so I will try them.

If all fails then it will have to be the 150ml Humbrol cans.
