I noticed that it was OK in the album. It is 1000 by 634 at 425Kb.

The only way to solve this is for soemone to tell me exactly how they do it, button by button!

In times gone by, I have put enough of them on that were OK, but suddenly, it all changed and they wouldn't enlarge. I am doing nothing different. I upload to the album, then right click on it to get the details. Then start the post, click the image icon and stick the details in URL.    Once upon a time, I could put them in by Image Shack, but not any longer!

Bob, I think what you are doing wrong is clicking the Image icon. You need to click the insert from album one to the right of it and then select the photo you want from the album.

Yes, the Forum editor software has changed and this is probably at the root of the problem.

Thanks Colin, When I clicked on the camera, I found it, so I suppose it will work now. I am one of those strange people who prefers words to icons that really could mean anything, but should be OK now.

I haven't the time or energyface 1 to build big model ships. Prefer something that can be held in one hand. Tiny models of big ships for me rather than large models of small boats!cool

                        Bob,

The sailing ship is the tea clipper Norman Court, built to a scale of 32'=1". The plan was in one of the David MacGregor sailing ship books. The rigging is all fine copper wire and the masts and spars are all metal as well, brass tube & rod, copper rod and silver steel rod. I have never had the skills or patience to rig in twine, messing about with all those knots. It enlarges because yesterday, Colin told me how to do it!smiley Rather than click on the image icon , I needed to click on the camera icon next to it!

Here is the Norman Court complete:

                              Thanks, Keith,

The Speciality eventually ended up in a raging sea! Very strange colour for a collier. I sailed in a bigger vesrion of this ship just over 50 years ago – the Frederick T. Everard – the only difference was that we had two hatches forward of the bridge, where Speciality had only one!"

                              Merry Christmas,

                              Bob
