      Hello

Please can you advise (I don't want to break any rules!). I'm about to list a beautifully built boat (not a Sea Queen!) on eBay. Can I list the item number on this site for our members?

Sorry if I misread the opening post, but is the poster saying that the 'Sea Queen' is not a "beautiful boat"?wink

Sorry, to clarify. I'm known to a few on this site for my Sea Queens. I just wanted to advise I'm selling another boat.

                    Nick,

You can flag up your sale as a contributor to the forum. It is first posters simply trying to use us as a sales facility that I want to deter as we have found it clogs up the list of recent posts once people get wind of the idea they can sell on here for free and I have always considered the top priority of the forum is to act as a discussion space where model boaters can share their interests and modelling experiences and give each other advice.

                          Wot? No pulpit rail?? surprise

BTW The "other" forum specifically forbids adverts for items which are also listed on E-Bay. I dare say that dealers aren't welcome there either.

No. I bought this one almost as it is. I just added the batteries. I tend to buy a well build boat (due to lack of time), then do my own thing with the motor / engine etc. This one is too slow for me, but its all so nicely done I've decided to sell rather than pull it apart.

I'm not wanting to cause any trouble re advising I have a boat for sale on ebay. I would rather my post with the item number be removed, if its causing any offence. I did however ask first.

                              Nick,

Indeed you did and we said yes so it's fine on this occasion.
