Hopefully you will be able to see a picture of Sally Ann in my gallery.

 

She looks a little sad but she gave me enormous pleasure as a boy in the 50s. My father built her and my mother made the sails. She’s just come to light again in the corner of a garage and I’d like to restore her for my grandson now aged 7. But I need some help please.

 

I live in Chichester – is there anywhere near me where I could get materials?

I am a dinghy sailor so I know how to rig the boat but I don’t know about sail-making. Does anyone recognise this design and is there anywhere where I might find a copy of the plans?

and… please….. does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not I could fit radio controls??

 

She used to sail beautifully and it will be great to see her cutting through the water again.

 

Any guidance would be much appreciated.
