Hi All , I am trying to source some 4mm Lite Ply for the deck on my Big Perkie the hull is 12.5 inch wide but i can only find 12 inch ply , Don,t really want to joint it can anyone point me in the right direction.

As for not wanting to join it to make it wide enough, good luck with the solution to that one, Cookie! Perhaps if left out in the hot sun it might expand, or maybe you could dampen it and roll it out like pastry?

Does it have to be liteply….a substitute could be 3mm birchply or 3mm external ply from your local DIY store.

It almost always used to be the norm to make the deck in two halves anyway. Using the first half as a template made it quite likely that both side would be similar.
