Not exactly, Eddie, but not commission-based. I only wish I'd been on a quid for every Huntsman kit sold over time – and then there's the Hi-Boy! Maybe next time around…

Evening All,

I love seeing my design plans being sold on eBay 😀 photocopies of free MB plans, cheeky bu*gers !!

Still I think Osprey now looks pretty much how I'd hoped and will wait for some West System epoxy to arrive before the final painting and fittings, what shall we build next I hear you groan 😕

I think you nailed the picture on the jigsaw puzzle.

No chance of you taking my advice (which I don't heed myself) but haven't you got stuff to finish off?!!

I am building a SIG Sealane flying boat which is a bit of fun. Sort of qualifies on here for a few pictures and notes I suppose.

Your right of course I have 20-30 projects "on the go" more aeroplanes than boats, but once you get the momentum going you have to see how long it takes before you get bored 😀

As with you I expect all this modelling time could drive you crazy !!!

Just plugged in my 30 year old Aerochopper flight sim on the Atari ST & blow me down it works 😄

Let's see you flying boat 😀✈⛵

Hi. Ray, that is a very smart boat from any angle,you now need a Bruder figure in there. 20-30? I thought I was mad with the number I have built and am building.

Hi Ray

All of a sudden I feel a lot better. You have more projects on the go than me!

I fancy doing an Everglades type air-boat sometime. I have a 3 cylinder Saito radial and a 7 cylinder Siedel looking for a home.

I have also got a Donzi type powerboat about 48" together with surface prop gear, Silly Ebay purchase. Not sure whether to go gas or big electric

Yes I have a few more ideas for the fitting out of the side benches to be hinged to fold away for fishing etc, but that's what keeps the grey cells working

Had you thought about an official event for next year? "The Bushy Park 50mm EDF Challenge 2021"

Maybe 3 cell Lipo 11.1volts to keep it fair ————- Fastest boat wins??

Big airboat with the radial Powerboat – IC every time, and you can run them out at sea..

Hi All,

I have been busy painting Osprey for the last week and now she's starting to look like the jigsaw puzzle picture 😄

Finish = sanding sealer, high build filler (sprayed) , filler for the pin holes, 2 coats of Humbrol gloss.

The waterline masked with 1/4" Tamiya tape between the yellow & blue and painted with a long haired brush.

pretty happy with the result 😃 glazing the Windows next with old CD box plastic.

Great job Ray. Just the little white fender at the front to fit??

I would make a front fold carry box, and paint the inside to look like the bit of jetty next to the puzzle boat, for display purposes!

Well currently 25 but I may have missed a few 😄

Next up probably a Friendship Sloop & HMS Belfast !!

I did sell 6 last year that I wasn't using !!

I sold the big launch about 2 years ago to a club member………And he had forty models to his name!

I`ve only got three models in stock now

I would like to get back to Live Steam again, but it`s really out of the question.

No Myford now etc

Hi Bob,

I have my Myford Super 7 my most prized possession, shame you didn't keep yours 😢 just have to finish the Stephenson link motion and do the platework.

We have had my grandfather's engine in steam today he built in 1946 quite an emotional moment all round 😉 although it had a new boiler in 93 😄
