      Hi Guys.

It's that pain again in Australia.

I've been on ebay UK, America and Australia even Gumtree, looking for an OS 45VX-M marine motor to compliment a new one I already have (had it for 21/2 years) I wish to put a pair in a twin engined model. However the only site I have come across one, Funrcboats, say it is discontinued.

I've even tried to source other OS Marine motors only without success.

Does anyone have a site which could prove fruitful??

Sorry a correction. It should read OS 46VX-M marine motor.

According to the official OS website this engine is discontinued, so you're down to finding one still gathering dust in a retailer's stock or sitting unused in someone's modelling cupboard. **LINK**

Wish I could have been of more help, m'duck.

              Neville,

As the OS is now unobtainable, why not install a pair of matching glow engines of a different manufacture? Had a look around and the ones which seem competitive on price are the Far Eastern imports, ASP 0.46 marine glow from Just engines. Worldwide P&P.

                Hi Tony.

                Thanks for the info.

Had already considered that . Went to the site over weekend but saw NO marine motors. Will email them and ask for a price on a pair plus silencers etc.

                Thanks again,

                Neville

                  Hi Tony,

Yes finally found marine motors and 2 of them will certainly be cheaper than the OS 46VX-m which is on ebay at $400 plus $50 postage.

If I may ask anyone, I have looked through the last 3 years of Model Boat looking for the email address (NOt the website which has no information) of Mac's Mouldings without success. Also the gearboxes that allow a single motor to drive multiple propshafts, All I find is the single type for racers or Trucks.

                  Thanks,

                  Neville

DM, I'm guessing that you missed out the dot between the mail and co to avoid the address being automatically harvested…?
