Hi everyone,

I would like to let you all know about my online auction site purely for RC Modellers, the selling fees are very low, in some cases it works out to be free. We also give all new members £3 free credit to sell their items. There is also a section for placing wanted ads in case you cannot find the item you are looking for. We had a small article in this months RCME which has helped with members and items for sale, but the more the merrier.

Thanks for the supportive comment Neil, we have had one boat kit listed so far but I believe it sold quite quickly. Lets hope we get some more very soon. The best thing I think with our site is that there is no final price fee.

A few questions.

 

The prospect of the online site with no additional charges from every where is great , however your FAQ tells us very little really

 

So I would like to know

 

Who are you ?

 

Are you known to the modelling world.

 

As a Buyer or sellar would we be protected against Scammers , and people with dishonest intent .

 

If Items do not arrive or are not as stated does your site get involved in anyway.

 

Does your site proccess the payment or is that down to the buyers.

Hi Larry, 

I will do my best to answer your concerns.

1. I am a RC Modeller of 40 years experience and am based in Somerset UK.

2.I am not sure what you are asking with this one, I am known to the editor of RCME and some of the others within the RCME membership. 

3.All personal information given when registering on the auction site is securely maintained by me and not sold or given to any third parties, therefore you will only be contacted by me or any contact you make with other members when buying or selling.

4.Any transactions made thro the site are between members, if you use paypal you will be covered by them for such items.

5. The site does not get involved in any payment transaction, all payments are made thro your chosen payment option, which most people choose as Paypal or cash on collection, although there are other options.
