Is is envisaged that the MB digital magazines section be progressively expanded to include magazines going back through time. Even though a lot of technology has changed, the basics of model boat building is still relevant and there is a wealth of knowledge in these magazines that is worth referring to.

Unfortunately, the simple answer is no. The reason being that  prior to 2007 the magazines do not exist in electronic  form as we know it now. Therefore someone will have to scan each and every page of those back issues and there are are no spare staff to do it.

For  example: Model Boats has an Editor who works alone and has 50% of  the magazine designer’s time (who also designs Military Modelling).  Customer Services normally has just 2 or 2.5 staff, Subscriptions Dept is just two people. This is much the same in other hobby publishing houses.

You need some of these “work experience” types, you know, the ones who work for `nowt.

A dozen should do nicely..
