London visitor looking for model ship stuff

Hi all
I am visiting London in June and would like recommendation for a hobby shop that has a good selection of scale model ship fittings, brass, plastic, billings etc .Does not have to be central London as long as it is accessable by train or bus ) So if any of you know of such an establishment please let me know.

I am also Looking for a copy of the AUGUST and SEPTEMBER 1989 issue of Marine Modelling International with included plans for the Frans-W.
If anybody has them for sale or can copy,it would be much appreciated.

You could always try the Dockyard Model Shop at Chatham. Only 40 minutes to Chatham by Train.

My understanding is that there are very few, if any, shops in London itself that stock model boats and fittings in the way you are looking for. The Chatham shop mentioned by Mike is probably one of the nearest to London worth considering, otherwise one of the best in the south of UK is Westbourne models outside Bournemouth.
