I am building the leander from the BBC Model World prog as a member very kidly sent me a set of plans and a dvd of the entire seris . My question is the paint , ok light grey /primer grey for the hull and upper works BUT i have painted my decks green and hollowed out a section on the stern for the mortars , made outr off old till rolls inners . My dissapointment is that i cant get a wasp to finish it off BUT i have the " bones " of a scout that i can try to make look like a wasp , i had seen one on E Bay but could not afford £20 , which is prob more than i spent opn the build . To keep costs and weight down she is cardbord , cornflake boxes , and balsa but dont look to bad at all .
