          Hello Bob,

That looks very interesting — could you perhaps post a link to your order page? I should be able to find it any way, but that'd make it even easier.

Many thanks in advance and kind regards,

          Mattias

                Thanks Peter,

The model got busted by the courier, they dropped it on the way to Belgium, and again when they returned it to me. It was a nightmare repairing it, and the insurance didn't want to pay out the full amount, so generally a disaster. I wrote the book about building it in an attempt to make good the financial loss. I expected it to be a bit of a "damp squib" as very few model shipbuilders like iron and steel sailing ship. However, I was nearly knocked over in the rush to purchase the book although it has only been out about 48 hours. Orders pouring in!smiley

We Have the same sort of problem with Couriers for our commercial bits Bob – very careless in the main – and as for the Insurance – there's always a reason not to pay…….

Glad to hear the sales are going well

                      Thanks Mattias,

That was very quick indeed, I thought it would take several days.

After the initial rush, it has not sold as quickly as I hoped for, but only 17 copies now remain of the first print run of 46 books. Undecided as to whether have more printed when the last one goes.

23rd February, 2020. Finally sold out of the prnted version. Bit of a damp squib overall, despite a good start. Sales really trailed off in the last couple of months. Generally well-received, but mainly regarded as rather too complicated, and going too deeply into the construction. Consequently, I will not be having any more printed, but the download version will remain avaialble indefinitely.
