We shared so many happy times together as young free and single lads riding motorcycles in a  great city.

i sold a genuine [ not repro] rocket gold star for 50 quid so i could buy a suit to go to my going down ball at uni in 1973………50 quid……gawd, i could cry.

Just to throw a spanner in the works .It broke my heart to sell my old lambretta to cover my rent and buy some food.Ohhhhhh how i nearly cried ,god it was like losing my right arm .But you have to have some where to sleep and food on your plate .But i still miss my old scooter as i suspect you gentlemen miss those ‘orrible big smelly motorbikes where as we of the scootering world would always wear a nice suit with collar and tie

I always wore a suit and tie on me BSA, especially when me mother made me go to church. lol
