Inwales

Got my new model from Fleetscale yesterday and am now going to fit inwales to it to support the deck and superstructure. I am planning on 2mm Plasticard for the deck and for parts of it to be covered in timber. Question is this for those parts of the deck which are covered in Plasticard should the inwale be 2mm from top line of hull and for those where the plasticard is covered by timber (0.6mm) 2.6mm from top line of hull?

I would have thought your best bet would be to ask Fleetscale direct. You don’t mention which hull you have bought and the situation may vary depending on which model you are building.
