Are we talking about the small RTr model? Theres loads about surely? I saw a good few ads for it in a moments surfing ??? or am I on the wrong t(r)ack,again.

I converted one a while ago but to be honest its a bit small for me, and I might “out” it.

I have 2x speed 280`s in it and it goes a treat on a 2400 7.2 v AA NiMh battery pack .An easy conversion, and good looking on the stand with two nice brass props, like

Hi,

I just thought I'd let you know that we are manufacturing this boat again. The boat will be fully licensed to RNLI as before and RNLI will get a payment on the sale of every boat.

The RC has been upgraded to a full digital frequency so that pretty much any number of boats can be sailed at the same time.

The stock will be arriving in the country towards the end of July / begining of August.

Andrew. What excellent news. Great about the radio but we should assume its still the all or nothing motor control for turning?? An issue as they will not keep a straight line and slow rapidly for corners.

However, great value for money as as a fun boat this is not really an issue and only a niggly criticisism.

I think I can safely say that most people were very impressed by the finish and accuracy of the model, especially for the price. Ashley

Hi Ashley,

I'm afraid the motors, although upgraded, are still all or nothing for power however we have upgraded the radio control from the standard 27 and 40 mhz to the digital level of 2.4 ghz. This gives a far better range and also lets more than two of the boats be controlled at the same time.
