Has anyone looked into making a model of this vessel and if so are detailed plans available?   I recently visited the Sub Museum in Gosport but nobody there seemed to know if plans were available nor was there anything in the shop.  I’m very keen to give it a try.

              enjoy the build, Rob.

I once saw one that had been reviewed as a build log in ( I think….Colin Bishop might be able to verify) Model Boats mag…..it was an award winning build……and it was beautiful.

                Hi,
The drawings for an Xcraft are are available from the Maritime museum, also there is a rather nice drawing of one in the book Midget Submarines of the second world war by Paul Kemp, the drawings are by David Hill. You can get the book from your library.
A model has been made of X24 and it currently resides alongside the real vessel in the RNSM, this was an award winning model and has featured in MMI mag about six years ago, I can find out the exact date if you are interested. The mouldings by Models By Design are the old Darnell/metcalf mouldings ones, they are to 1/15th scale and not 100% accurate. If you need any further info on X24, contact me , I can help you.
                Cheers Alan..
