hmcs snowberry

Just opened the box to start my Snowberry and found it to be moulded in three colours and well chuffed BUT on a down side i have lost my paint conversion chart and don't know what the the conversion to Humbrol or Tamiya ,humbrol I'm looking at Matt 147 or Tamiya light grey XF 66 or can i get away with primer grey all over .

Any suggestions ???????

Andy, similar question on forum only a few weeks ago. Grey primer was prefferred, naval grey is a colour in the eye of the beholder. If you are applying camo then I submit that the grey doesnt matter too much and Primer is as good a grey as any . Besides which, how easy??? I use Halfords Grey plastic primer.Ashley

Hi Andy, I agree with Ashley about the primer, I used it and it’s lasted for years and cleans easily.
Clean the plastic very well before you apply the paint, it doesn’t like any grease, even a finger mark.
If you want a conversion chart, google humbrol tamiya conversion chart, you will have plenty of choice, either online or pdf.
