Graupner bearings from UK

I've been scanning the internet for the past 2 days and I cant seem to find a UK retailer that sells these

They are for a ball raced graupner M5 prop shaft…but the postage charge from germany is 10 euros, for the total price I may as well get a new propshaft, but I want to try keep my current one if I can get these bearings from the UK.

Any help in finding them here would be much appriciated.

A couple of thoughts:-

Gliders are the Graupner agents in the UK — might be worth a call/email — **LINK**

Prestwich Model Boats sell a couple of 5mm bore propshaft bearings, one 19mm od and one 16mm od —

I think that Graupner's UK distribution has changed and only one company now brings in what stuff remains in their range. Blowed if I can remember the name but it's not Gliders. You might try this business for bearings – I've had excellent service from them. **LINK**

Damn…Gliders just got back to me saying they can get them in for £1 cheaper,lol

Guess I'll puchase afew of them off Gliders because I think once stock has gone from graupner that will be it

Can I suggest that if anyone is after ball bearings or bushes that they have a look at model engineering suppliers rather than "model shops". Over on the sister website to this for "Model Engineering", (you can get to it by clicking on the link in the footer on this page), you'll find a number of model engineering suppliers adverts. One that is particularly recommended for bearing is Arc Euro Trade in Leicester., (no connection except as a very satisfied customer). The proprietor of Arc Euro – Ketan Swali – has a background in the bearing business and can often recommend alternatives or source odd bearings if they are not in his normal range. Arc Euro have that size of bearing listed at quite a bit less than 10euro.
