Futaba 6EX

I need a little assistance in sorting out my RC gear, sorry if this has been asked before but the searches didn't turning anything up.

I purchased a 6EX quite a while back, just the transmitter. I have eventually decided to put the 27 meg gear out to grass and move on to the 2.4 ghz set up.

I want to use it for my garden railway and my model boats. The standard R617FS 7/8 channel receiver is quite expensive. Are there any other compatible 2-3 channel or maybe 4 channel receivers that can be used with the 6EX.

This claims to be Futaba FASST compatible and is less than a third of the price of a new Futaba receiver. It is, however, a limited range receiver but that should be fine for a garden railway.

Be careful to view and order the item from the UK warehouse or you'll end up paying a LOT more for it.
