      Hi All

Anybody bought one of these from Amazon ? My brother in law builds tanks and showed me this single action airbrush which is powered by a rechargeable compressor cylinder about the size of a mustard jar, may have to get one around £36 the compressor is charged from a usb plug. Side feed paint cup, looks the business 😀

      Regards Ray

😁 my wife has ordered me one for upcoming birthday delivery tomorrow 😄

            Thanks Dave,

I used to think 64 was really old, now I know it is 😀

Will update on my new toy when it arrives, it will only be using water based paints, I don't want to spend the next 64 years cleaning it out 😃

            Kind Regards Ray

They need a strict cleaning regime, even if it's just flushing them through IMMEDIATELY after each use with the relevant solvent. I speak from the wisdom born of of several bad experiences.

64? That ain't old, dude. Just ask Admiral Bishop… surprise

Dave is quite right. At my age you need regular flushing through with the correct solvent – formaldehyde is generally recommended. face 21

I have several people tell me that I don't look 70 in the past week. I don't like to ask how old I think they think I look.

I find alcohol in the form of red wine or whisky or brandy works better than formaldehyde.

Now the rain has stopped I might be able to get that cabin water proofed. Am now awaiting a new door to replace the split one. Nearly completed the first coat, then I can start all over again.

Yes, Whisky is the way to go although Dave prefers the American variety.

Of course with formaldehyde you can rise at midnight… vampvampvamp

I have some Bourbon but mine is a bottle of Woodford Reserve from my son. Must find a reason to open it.

                        Hi All,

I'm glad we have found a popular subject to discuss 😉 a wee dram keeps everything in perspective 😀

                        Regards Ray

If you woke up breathing this morning then that's a good enough reason!!

Save it until your 'new shed-warming' – I'll be there!

BTW I've never been known to refuse a Scotch, Colin. It's just that I prefer Sour Mash or Bourbon with a chunk of ice and a splash of water. Which reminds me…..it's nearly time for tiffin!
