Hi Larry,

Sorry for the delay in replying hadn’t fully grasped the Album bit of the site.

 

As the for the barge, there are no plans it is just out of my head using initialy scrap material. Its built roughly to 1/12 scale and scales out at 48′ by 6.5′. The base was cut toa barge shape and the sides are thinner ply with the grain vertical wrapped round the base and secured with weatherproof wood glue.

Its really only a representation of a work boat bult for my amusement. I would hesitate to call it a model

Its come on a bit further now and the rear structure is nearly complete.

At this stage I don’t even know if it will float. Its got a stock 540 motor driving a 40mm 2 bladed prop. It could be embarassing if goes onto the plane!.

But I’m having fun learning to build it, before I start on mylaunch which has now been put back as a winter project.
