      Hi All,
               Has anyone tried the digital subscription yet? I quite fancy this way of getting the magazine because keeping all the years of back copies is a problem. All that space they take up. What I havn’t been able to work out is if we are able to download each copy to the hard drive and keep them there, very handy to refer to and read whenever I want.
        Perhaps someone has already tried this and can let me know.

          Hi
          No,  I think (and I could be Wrong) but while a digital or standard subscriber you will have access to the copys as a digital issue online , To my knowledge you can not download them , as such if you cancelled your subscription you would also loose the facility to view them. The same with paper subscribers if our subscription stops we still have access to this forum but not the Digital Issues.
           
          Although I think the issues on line are great I still prefer the paper  magazine, However the wife does not share my preference…

            Thanks Larry,
               I think you are right, but I think it’s a shame if they can’t be downloaded. It would make keeping the magazines and reading them much more practical. Perhaps things will change, downloading would make the offer much more appealing.

              Hi Guys, I think you are lucky that you can access the digital side of things. I have entered my details in My Account  but that does not work. I have sent e-mails to MyHobbyStore but they seem to want to ignore me. Can you tell me how to get into the digital side, please.

                When did you send the emails? And did you send them to [email protected]
                 
                They do usually respond quite quickly (but maybe not yesterday due to weather disruption!)
                 
                I have checked your online account and the subscription number does not work. Have you double checked that it has been entered excatly in accordance with the instructions?
                 
                I also note that you have another account with a different email address. If you have been swapping the details around between the two accounts this may have caused problems.

                  Have just picked up your reply as I have been away for a couple of days. E-mails were sent to the address you have given at least a month ago. You say I have another account with a different email address. I have had this address for more than two years, so could not have been me. How did you find out about the other? How can I correct that.?

                        Hullo,

                        I took out the digital subscription a few months ago the price was right, plus you get 2 years of back issues on line as well, My only complaint is the quality of the text when it’s enlarged to a comfortable and readable size it’s too blurry/fuzzy for me to put up with. It’s almost akin to a poorly scanned printed page. 

                        Is it just me or am I missing a setting somewhere ?

                        Other than the quality issue it’s a very good idea
