This was the first Tug my late father in law served on before he supervised the build of the Recruit for Cory in Thorne, N.Yorks. Looking at the photo and seeing this created in Model form makes me so proud. He would have been so pleased at what you have created. Well done x

Hi Angela,

I'm so glad you like the model, she took 18 months on and off, the drawings available are so good for the detail it makes the build most enjoyable trying to re-create the bits and bobs

If you look in my album "Ray's Boats" you will see the whole build process for the cutting of the bulkheads to the tug on the water.

Hi Bob,

Its good to hear from you again Cullamix was an APC Tug Associated Portland Cement based on the Thames, I'm fairly sure she was named after one of their products. One of there better known products is Sandtex an external masonry paint, apparently they tested the products on the tugs, so she was many different colours over the years.
