      @petermorris5

      I've just finished building an Aeronaut Spitfire 'kneeler'. I used a Hobbyking outboard motor as it was much cheaper than the Aeronaut version. All has been well up to now, but I thought that it would be sensible to get one or two spare flexible shafts for the outboard – having been advised that they break quite often! Unfortunately, Hobbyking do not have any shafts, in fact they don't seem to have the outboard motor any moresad. Can anyone tell me where I can get replacement shafts or, failing that, where I might get some 3mm diameter flexible shaft? ( I would then make the stub shaft section myself).

      The dimensions of the shaft are:

      Flexible shaft – 3mm diameter

      Stub shaft – 4mm diameter x 32mm long

      Overall length of shaft – 100mm

      I'll be grateful for any help/advice.

          Hi Peter,

          I hope your keeping well, I guess we are both missing our lake at Bluewater 😕 can't help much with the flexibility drive, but does anybody make a strong nylon or carbon fibre drive which doesn't rust ?? I know we discussed this before.

          Kind Regards Ray
