Hi there. Any one know of a good site for accessories for scratch builds ie: portholes,doors,lifeboats etc..Plastic, not brass too dear.Any help be great.Thanks Glenn

One of my members needed a lot of matching parts for his scratch battleship. He went to Hobbycraft, got the required materials and learned the art of making masters and moulding. Costs were low and he got the parts he wanted.

Have a look at Reade Models **LINK**

They advertise in Model Boats and do a range of plastic fittings such as you used to find in model shops.

Just to add that Malcolm Reade has very kindly sent me a bucketful of fittings for Seaspray. I will sort through these and post the codes/names of those which I eventually fit.
