Readers may be interested to know that I am following up my site on KK EeZeBilt boats with another one on the Model Aerodrome 'MarineCraft' range.

Model Aerodrome were a small British company around in the 1940s to 1970s. They made and sold their own range of model motors, plane and boat kits in the early days, but reverted to becoming a shop chain by the 1980s, and finally went bust in 2013.

Model Boats are doing an article on the Marinecraft range in their next issue, so I hope we can complement each other. You should be able to read about them in the magazine, then build an example from the plans on the site.

The site is still being developed, but you will find one free set of plans in there, and an old catalogue to browse. Go and have a look!

It's not just me – I just host the code. In many cases the data has come in from modellers around the world – it's a team effort. We may not have the volume of the aircraft mob at Outer Zone – but we are keeping the vintage boat kits side represented… laugh
