I have been using turboCAD now for a number of years and I am learning as I go But I have found it very useful in all the DIY projects I have done in the past.

I like the 2D drawing. Have you tried 3D yet? as I am playing with a 3D drawing of a plan that I hope to build from scratch.

Hoping for some tips on the CAD side then on the building of the model.

As I said I'm just learning as I go so I was off in the T/cad manual and their forum checking out the inserting a jpg picture which led me to tracing so hopefully that will be some assistace to the model drawings.

So far just getting co-ordinates from the plan and then inserting them into drawing, it may be the hard way but it's the way I know just now.

Yes there is nothing better to look at the drawings and I have just bought a New printer scanner for that purpose. As I have just a home office layout it is only an A3 but the new Epson WF 7515 put it within my budget so I hope to use it to print the model plans of the sections without loosing bits here and there.

I am also trying to learn how to use forums so there is a lot to learn.

I am using Platinum Pro 17
