Look for “liteply” and not plywood.

You should find what you are looking for.

              Andy,

Most good timber merchants should stock ply of this thickness. It will probably be in sheets of 8’x4′ but if you are nice to them, they may cut it down to the size you want.

I,m assuming that you want Marine Plwood……If so, the man to speak to is Nick  Tonkin at Model Dockyard, he carries a good selection in Metric and Imperial sizes.

I don’t think you will get marine plywood in that thickness. Robbins go down to 1.5mm thick in marine play (expensive!) and also waterproof birch ply. http://www.robbins.co.uk/

Don’t get me started about our so called government and their cronies in all the political parties……bring out the trough and fill it from the gravy train.

Just how many ways are there to claim expenses for sitting on your ar-s and talking bollo-ks.

                        Hi Andy

Further to my recent reply to your “Thin Plywoodd” question………..Nick Tonkin at Model Dock Yard can supply  0.50mm, and 1.5mm Birch faced Marine Plywood in sheets of
3ft x 1ft…….if you have the sheet cut in half, it works out cheaper. Be aware that LITEPLY is mainly used by the Model Aircraft lads, and if you are using it on a working ship model it must be sealed 100% to avoid damp penetration………Good luck with your project, Ernie
