I thought the two boats below might be of interest to readers. The first is a rather futuristic powerboat seen refuelling in Vancouver Harbour while we were waiting to board a seaplane. Our pilot said it cost $35m!

The second vessel was seen in Ketchikan harbour, Alaska and I thought it was worth posting the images for the amount of detail shown which is always useful to modellers.

          1) Cor looks suspiciously like Brutus…or does….? no…surely..Paul did not SWIPE this design…no..I cant believe it…I mean…..

          2) the other is a boring nice  fishing boat full of old rubbish useful detail for those that like to make fishing boats. devil

Sorry Ashley but I didn't see any hardboard LCTs…,

Yes, I did think the first one might appeal to Paul.

Colin, can you please bring to Bobs attention the colour of the stealth boat? Thank you.

I will yet make a proper boat out of a much maligned material and this will not stop the detractors of said material and my SUPPOSED fixation with it…cool

                Where's Wally?

It looks like Colin has found it in Vancouver Harbour.

                wallypower-118.jpg

The boat is called the Wally 118 and it would make a super 5ft model but I doubt that anyone would want to build it.

                Paul

(no Ashley I didn't rip the design but the same company have produced a nice power boat catamaran which I might just have a go at)

I've got the hump now fancy one of my friends calling my honour into question. I'm going to give up now no more designing for me. I'm going to sulk.

                  This is really amazing!

How amazingly similar to Brutus?……Notice the lack of portholes?……How did they see out, when down below?

Notice the tiny faces on the bow shot it must be an enormous cruiser!

Certainly an amazing boat, I did a bit of Googling and found this: **LINK**

Truly magnificent…..Full of outlandish features!……It`s a pity, Paul hadn`t seen it earlier?

Notice the bows are not truely vertical

The open stern looks dangerous, to me!

The occupants must live in the top deck section with the crew down below?

Thanks for posting the pix, Colin

                        Bob

It is full of some spectacular design features including a superb deep v hull, but I never liked the way that the bow comes clean out of the water when going at speed and I certainly don't like those idiotic oversized air-intakes.

I do like this one though

                        retro_wally.jpg

Obviously from the same designer but this one is a true greyhound and has such better style than the clunky one.

Wow my ghast is well and truly flabbered. magnificent.

Bob you need to paint Brutus black and soon and take the boat somewhere sunny for a decent shot..you have a helicopter?

Paul, ,if you have finished sulking I see that there is a design feature missing from Brutus, as per the last shot on your post….
