"Personally I am looking forward to reading the account of a kit build from a little known but highly skilled author who had a workshop built especially for the article."
Make that two articles, Paul………………….
………. and jealousy won't get you an admission ticket.
That said, it's a tip at the moment with three models on the go; the assorted tools and effects of the guy who's doing the garden building work (two months gone and counting), and the daily 'cooking' of SMT circuit boards for an electronics project which is still under wraps.
One is a busy bee at present, and one is happy when one is busy! Looking forward to reading how you go about designing a model – I bet it's different from Ashley's and mine.

Glynn will have made reference in the article to the type of motor and battery pack he used. If it's one of his geared-drive jobs and you don't fancy the work/noise then you could substitute a standard MFA 540/1 motor and use your 7.2v pack. In that event I'd suggest a 3 blade prop (35mm dia) although others might prefer a 2-blade type.
