Converting my Schnellboot to R/C I've got a problem about props, in particular the centre prop of the three. OK right hand prop is a right handed prop, left hand is a left handed but what about the centre prop. I think it should be right handed but what is the correct answer?

The answer can be anything you like. Two of one and one of the other will make little difference either way. I know of several folk who have all three props rotating the same way.

            Hi Paul

As Dave says on model boats it makes very little difference in performance or handling, there is a slight tendency for a condition called prop walk but this is usually so minimal as to be easily corrected by rudder trim. The only need for handed props on a model would be for scale accuracy.

            I hope this helps

I would have a surf and see what the original boats were fitted with, and use that setup, simply for its "stand" appearance.

As suggested, there is no practical difference for a model on the water with props all handed similarly,

Both outer props opposite to each other, centre prop same hand as port prop.
