Hi everyone! New to this forum, receive my Model Boats mag from my local hobby shop for years. I'm researching a kit for myself the CCG Tsekoa II . Wondering if any one has build it or has any input on her. I'm just about finished with the Wyeforce. Gary

Hi Gary,

I haven't built it myself but it is a popular subject and Model Slipway have an excellent reputation for quality so if you like the look of it then I very much doubt if you will be disappointed.

Hi Gary

I built a Tsekoa ll a few years ago in the Canadian Coastguard colours rather than the Quebec Local Government colours as originally delivered. I have found Tsekoa a very good model specially with the Action mixer and a Robbie bow thruster. I have a few photos **LINK** and there was a good review of the model with a comprehensive build description which I found useful in the May 1995 issue of ModelBoats by Dave Brumstead – it may well be possible to get a copy from MB.

Hi Dave,

Indeed I was fortunate enough to do quite well with Tsekoa at the National Finals. Sadly this year's event was cancelled for lack of entries although to be honest it was not well promoted by MPBA.

Hope you are enjoying your "retirement".
