Hi Guys,

I'm interested in building a model jet propelled fishing boat and I'm looking for anyones ideas. The jet unit I'm considering is the Graupner Jet Propulsion Unit 5.

Hello Bob

Its going to be a big boat to contain the jet drive and IC engine/mega 700w motor with lots of reinforcing to retain the combo within the hull, where are you planning to sail the beast.

Its my kind of model and I hope that you get to build it.

Hi Paul,

I live on 4 hectres, Manado Indonesia and have very large Koi fish ponds. Still looking for a suitable hull, and thank you for your reply.

Hi Bob

A suitable hull might be a fiberglass MTB unit such as a 4ft Perkasa, its big and strong enough to survive the Unit 5
