      Hi

      just wanted to know how easy this would be to achieve on my Huntsman 31. What equipment do I need ( apart from the rudders of course!)

            You might get a few ideas on thi subject if you have a look at pp. 21 ff of Richard Dunn's TEV Wahine build (**LINK** – the discussion of twin rudders starts halfway down p. 21).

              Hi Dean

              Having just been through this on the H31, using commercial units with one arm cut off you have 2 adjustable tillers which are linked together, making sure you can access the set screws for adjustment, ideally a link from the servo with brass rod with a nut soldered on, the joining rod has a vertical pin soldered on remembering the servo output is in an radius and not linear the brass block is part of a 13amp plug which holds the linkage together. the link needs to able move easily, my trusty Z-bend pliers to crimp the brass rod at the servo and one tiller end and aeroplane clevicesh31 rudders & props.jpg at the other does the job.
