      Hi All.
I really need a bit of help with this one as I have done something almost silly.

i bought a Syma/Black horse RS 7000 boat from a selling site on face book and i knew it was faulty before i got it.
It cost £1.50 complete apart from 1 battery of which i have loads and only half a prop on one shaft and a complete one on the other side.

I know the props are handed but I can't seem to locate a supplier to get any spares.
any advice would be very much appreciated

      Pete

Pete. Nothing silly about purchasing a boat for ?1.50 ! What we would wamnt to know is the size of prop, style…ie hydro etc, and fitting/size… ir dog-drive, screw on..bore size…4mm 3.16..3mm or whatever. I am sure you should be able to get something to suit.,Ashley

I think that these might be the props that you need.

              Thank you Ashley and Paul.

Sorry only just got onto the computer or I would have checked for replies earlier.

Yes Paul that is the right ones and thank you very much for the link, they have now been ordered and should be here soon.

Ashley I got lost at the prop style bit but the link shows it well, I should have mentioned that the toy was bought on a charity fund raising site and if i couldn't find suitable props then i would have converted it and used proper radio gear.
the boat has been float tested in the bath in anticipation of the project with no signs of leaks so I am doing well with my bargain so far and everything works as it should.

              Thanks again both

Pete, you may yet end up converting it. We have had a few of these pop up now and then (RTR speedboats) and its a bit pot luch as to if they perform well or not.

Sometimes the hulls are really nice and warrant converting. My Hornet was an RTr, but of the slighty more expensive type (I just had the hull off someone, bare of any fittings) ; the standard of finish and construction is mouthwatering..paper thin very even fibreglass..superb gel/paint finish.

But..usually the hulls are very light and can be made to go quite well and for not a lot of money. however, as you have already splashed out £1.50…

I am ready for a bit on converting if i need to Ashley, that's the joy of the hobby.
In fact i usually end up making or converting bits for most of my hobbies and dreaming up ideas that never seem to work.
Oh well i will keep everyone informed after the maiden sail.

                  Pete
