          Arthur,

These are American made Pittman motors, almost certainly 9004 Boatmasters. They were available in 6-volt (9004-6) and 12-volt (9004-12) versions, from 1967 onward. Nice motors, but by today's standards more suited to slow scale models.

For your PT-109 or any fast model, I'm going to be constroversial and say that brushless motors are the only way to go! Two outrunners of around 100watt each for the larger PT-109, but sorry, I don't have the time to ask the 20+ questions needed to identify a specific motor for you.

          Yabbie 1.

            Hi Yabbie.

Thanks a lot. The motors was given to me by a friend whom removed them from the PT109. I gladly accepted of course. Changing to brushless was my idea also. I dont do fast electrics and the motors suits my application perfect. Will get a use for them. Never turn a gift away.

            Regards

            Arthur
