      Hi all,

I know these things have been covered quite extensively but I can't find the answers to my specific questions.

I'm just finishing the installation on a twin screw cabin cruiser using two MTroniks Viper Marine 40 esc's. They will be run on one stick of the transmitter using a Y lead to the receiver- and yes, I have disabled one red lead for the BEC to work .

My question is regarding setup. These esc's have a button to press after which you set up the tx stick travel during a two second window. Is it best to press both buttons simultaneously and set up the stick travel for both in one go? This seems sensible to me but there may be a reason not to.

Also, each esc has a slider switch. It it reasonable to wire both esc's into one switch so that both are switched on in one go? Again, I can't think of a reason not to- but seek expert advice on it.

I have contacted Mtroniks but I haven't really given them much time to respond yet – only emailed them yesterday! I'm keen to get on.

Hope someone who has had experience of this situation can help.

I thought it right that I should mention that Mtroniks had replied to me on the same day that I emailed them, but it went into my spam folder, and I only thought to check that today- so excellent reponse.

The answer is – you can use one switch if using one battery between the two esc's, which I am , and it is best to set up both esc's at the same time. This info may help anyone else in a similar situation.
