I want to build a model paddle steamer and am thinking how best to drive the paddles, someone has suggested using a belt drive system. I wonder if someone knows of any pictures that show how such a system works. I am not well versed in such technology so any help here would be appreciated. The power comes from an electric motor.

Thank you Dave and Bob for your reply. What you’ve posted is very helpful. I will post the forum telling of my progress when I’ve started building the paddle steamer.
