Hi. my boat is progressing well!

Has any-one had any (warranty-type) problems with the spectrum Dx5?

I’ve been offered by my local model shop a Dx5e at a price which is hard to refuse

I have read the variouse threads about them, and so can put up with the hiccups.

Are there any major warranty type problems with them?

Hi Michael,

I always think it’s a shame to see a post go compeletely unanswered. I’m no expert but have recently become a DX5e convert – I think they are brilliant. If the set is new won’t you be covered by the sale of goods act anyway if things go wrong? I think if an item is unfit for purpose after a reasonable time you can expect the trader to take action- not 100% sure on this though.

When I bought my set they seemed good value but unfortunately the price has gone up since then. I’d still buy a new one though!

Thanks for the reply, It should be covered by a warranty, but it’s always a hastle when new things go wrong
