Hi all. Can anyone please tell me what an equivalent motor to a monoperm would be to go into a RNLI Tyne lifeboat?

      Thank you

There were several different types of monoperm motor, but generally an MFA 385 is a decent substitute. That said, I would use a small modern brushless in a Tyne if I was building one.

Can you tell us how big your model is, there are / were different kits and plans, also if you already have a battery pack, and it's voltage.

          Charles.
