      hi Dave…………..this hull of the Guernsey St Johns Ambulance launch Flying Christine 11 looks somewhat familiar. have you any idea of that it is. flying Christine 1 which I have built was based on an ST200 sea plane tender and Flying Christine 111 was built on a Nelson 45 pilot boat hull……..and so it interests me that FC 11 was also built on a commercial hull, and as i built both 1 and 111 I have a yearning to build this one to. do you recognise it please.

          It looks vaguely Fairey-ish although it's more likely to be a Halmatic hull. Beyond that I can't say.

            did Halmatic do diagonal plank on frame, or would a Fairey hull be able to fit the bill, if so which one, could you suggest.

              I may be wrong but I think the Halmatic hulls were GRP, while the Fairey ones were definitely hot-moulded agba (like a mahogany). The one that looks most like Flying Christine II would be a Huntman 28. I'll dig out some lines and E-Mail them to you (if I can find your address).
