Just received the next issue and Ashley's 'wooden wall' HMS London has pride of place on the cover with a nice meaty article inside. It's good to see such an unusual subject and the photos do it justice as I have seen the model myself.

If I say so myself, it does look as good as I had hoped, and as you say an unusual subject despite ostensibly being just another square rigger.

I have seen the mag today. Sailing pictures taken on a slightly windy day for a few scale waves, "reflection" pictures taken on a different week-end in the calm.

I can confirm that no superior man made board was harmed in the making of the London, as it is well known (by some) that ALL my models are made of it…
